Staff Product Manager (AI)

Location: Home office locations in Sunnyvale or San Bruno, California, United States

Annual salary: $143,000–$286,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead strategy and execution for complex products or closely related product sets, owning outcomes from discovery through value realization.
• Build customer and business understanding through data analysis, journey mapping, and feedback synthesis.
• Define multi-quarter product vision and strategy using customer, competitive, and market insights.
• Manage roadmaps, dependencies, risks, backlog priorities, and cross-functional delivery.
• Use data and experimentation to validate assumptions and inform product direction.
• Influence technical decisions with Engineering and Data teams and mentor product managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related area and 7 years of product management experience; or 9 years of experience in product management or a related area.
• Experience driving product strategy and managing complex roadmaps with measurable business impact.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Expertise in data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, and experimentation.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management from discovery through launch and value realization.
• Ability to translate customer insights and market trends into prioritized requirements and clear success metrics.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application to product innovation and scalability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related area.
• Experience as a product manager, ideally with consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
