(USA) Staff Product Manager (Agentic Automation)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; an additional salary range is listed for San Bruno, California, United States. Onsite role at the Bentonville Home Office.

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 annually in Bentonville; $143,000–$286,000 annually in San Bruno, plus performance bonuses and possible stock.

What you will do

• Ship production-grade agentic automations supporting a multi-million-dollar savings workstream.
• Build, launch, and iterate on AI tools, agents, plugins, and skills that enable AI-native product management.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Data, and Operations, removing blockers and driving alignment from discovery to deployment.
• Own workstreams end to end, including scoping, building, shipping, and iteration.
• Partner with Data and Engineering to identify automation opportunities, validate them through experimentation, and move successful solutions into production.
• Lead product strategy and manage multi-quarter roadmaps for complex products.

Requirements

• Prior experience developing and deploying AI agents in production environments, including hands-on experience shipping code to production.
• Strong understanding of agentic development best practices, including context management, cost optimization, and reliability at scale.
• Strong understanding of AI agent architecture, including orchestration patterns, tool use, memory systems, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-agent coordination.
• Ability to stay current with frontier model advances and evaluate emerging capabilities for product use cases.
• Experience selecting and combining open-source and frontier models to optimize quality, latency, and total LLM spend.
• Proven experience leading product strategy and managing roadmaps for complex or multiple related products.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related area and 7 years of product management experience; or Option 2: 9 years of product management or related experience.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related area.
• 6 years of experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences and implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards.
• Knowledge of assistive technologies, digital accessibility best practices, and hirify.global accessibility standards and guidelines.
