Staff Product Manager, Developer Experience (AI)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with two days in the office each week

What you will do

• Own the developer experience roadmap across the Studio IDE, Developer Agent, Cloud CLI, and VS Code Extension.
• Partner with the Fusion team to expose compilation, intelligence, SQL comprehension, compute, and context capabilities through developer-facing experiences.
• Lead AI-native product development for Developer Agent, including agentic workflows, context-aware suggestions, natural-language interactions, and guided development.
• Define IDE and developer tooling strategy based on modern environments such as VS Code and Cursor.
• Coordinate engineering, design, and go-to-market partners to deliver developer experiences on a predictable cadence.
• Use customer and community feedback, user research, market analysis, and product-led growth metrics to prioritize the roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful work with developer tools, IDEs, or technical platforms.
• Direct experience managing IDE or developer environment products.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools and a strong understanding of AI coding assistants.
• Strong technical foundation for collaborating with engineers, reasoning about architecture, and contributing to technical decisions.
• Experience conducting user research and converting developer feedback into prioritized product work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and comfort working asynchronously with a distributed team.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks.
• Experience shipping AI agent features, including multi-step LLM workflows and context management.
• Familiarity with LSP, tree-sitter, CLI tooling, workflow automation, or open-source development.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, or the analytics engineering ecosystem.
