Senior Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in Canada; applicants accepted only from Ontario and Québec. Québec-based candidates must be fluent in English to collaborate with teams across the Americas and occasionally Europe.

Salary: 130,000–150,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Lead complex digital projects and programs from planning through execution, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, quality, and delivery readiness.
• Manage retainers, fixed-price engagements, and Time & Materials contracts, including forecasting, invoicing oversight, and financial performance.
• Coordinate internal resources, multidisciplinary teams, and third-party vendors across multi-brand, multi-site, and multi-market initiatives.
• Define roadmaps, delivery plans, governance processes, backlogs, KPIs, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and execution strategies.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations through facilitation, communication, negotiation, transparency, and proactive problem solving.
• Use AI-enabled tools to improve planning, collaboration, reporting, and delivery efficiency; mentor Project Managers and delivery professionals.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Manager experience in digital agencies, consulting firms, product engineering firms, or technology organizations.
• Experience delivering digital programs for health systems, payers, or life sciences organizations, including work with clinical, marketing, and IT stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end digital product development and software delivery initiatives.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and planning tools such as MS Project or similar.
• Experience managing both Fixed Price and Time & Materials engagements, Agile projects, and pod-based delivery models.
• Practical experience using AI tools in everyday work to accelerate project and product delivery.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, scope and risk management, budgeting, resource planning, KPIs, dashboards, and delivery metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Solid technical background and ability to work with engineering teams on technical, integration, and accessibility considerations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with healthcare digital ecosystems, including EHR-connected patient experiences such as Epic MyChart, provider directories, scheduling, HIPAA, PHIPA, and WCAG.
• Previous Product Owner experience with backlog prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Edge Delivery Services, or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
• Experience delivering programs across multiple brands, sites, or business units and working with globally distributed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP, Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
