Senior Project Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Montreal, QC, Canada; hybrid work combining remote and in-person attendance

What you will do

• Take signed contracts through the Sales-to-Delivery handoff and establish project, release, staffing, and communication plans.
• Lead several client engagements, managing scope, budget, schedule, quality, margin, and timeline accountability.
• Run Agile/Scrum delivery in Jira and track hours, forecasts, budgets, risks, and RAID items.
• Coordinate with clients and vendors, negotiate resources and decisions, and manage escalations and difficult conversations.
• Plan go-live and post-launch support, then close projects with sign-off, final billing, and lessons learned.
• Publish weekly status reports and bi-weekly invoicing reports, support portfolio governance, and coach other project managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT project management experience, including CRM implementations such as Creatio, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Experience running several fixed-budget client projects simultaneously with accountability for margin and timeline.
• Technical depth sufficient to follow integration designs, challenge estimates, and identify risky data migrations.
• Fluent French and English required.
• Strong presentation skills for steering committees and executive audiences.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or business, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with banks, credit unions, or other financial institutions.
• Agile/Scrum certification such as PSM, CSM, DASM, or PMI-ACP.
• Creatio experience or certification.
• Familiarity with Symitar, Fiserv, MeridianLink, or another core banking or lending platform.
