Enterprise Architect (International Corporate Payments)

What you will do

• Define target and transition architectures, modernization roadmaps, and legacy platform replacement and decommissioning plans.
• Shape the strategic data foundation across ingestion, transformation, serving, and master data management layers.
• Decompose core payment platforms using bounded capabilities, strangler fig, anti-corruption layers, and event-driven integration.
• Design coexistence, migration, synchronization, replication, cutover, and rollback approaches while keeping live payment services stable.
• Embed security, privacy, PCI DSS compliance, resilience, observability, and supportability into architecture designs.
• Lead architecture governance, develop reusable patterns, mentor architecture and engineering teams, and communicate trade-offs to technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of IT experience, including senior architecture roles in mid-sized or large enterprises.
• Proven experience leading large-scale legacy modernization and incrementally decomposing a monolithic core platform.
• Experience changing mission-critical, highly available transaction systems while they remain live without service disruption.
• Deep expertise in integration and data architecture, including APIs, event-driven patterns, data migration, and master data management.
• Strong grounding in hybrid data centre and cloud environments, networking, security, and resilience engineering.
• Practical command of TOGAF, Zachman, or an equivalent architecture framework.
• Sound judgement in ambiguous situations and credibility to influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
