Enterprise Data Architect (Data Architecture)

Location: Hybrid remote in London, Manchester, Poland, or Prague

What you will do

• Define and develop enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data architecture models, information models, standards, patterns, and reference models.
• Drive Brambles’ enterprise data architecture and strategy in partnership with business and technology teams.
• Document the current data landscape, critical data flows, risks, controls, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Establish architectures for master data, reference data, shared business data assets, metadata, data lineage, and data classification.
• Lead data architecture on critical programmes and deliver designs across integrated technologies and platforms.
• Research emerging technologies and assess their impact on enterprise architecture, including analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, mobile, cloud, and agile technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a data architecture-related role, including designing and implementing data and information solutions with continuous monitoring and improvement.
• Significant enterprise data architecture experience within a complex global organization.
• Experience developing data management best practices and applying data principles across an organization.
• Experience addressing data and information architecture across cloud platforms, integration, data management, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience defining enterprise data and information models and maintaining technology architecture models.
• Working knowledge of data quality, master data, metadata, data lineage, and the DAMA Data Management framework.
• Ability to translate business data challenges into practical architectural designs, standards, and recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of technology environments, information systems, data architecture, and enterprise applications; experience with enterprise architecture, ideally within a TOGAF framework.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, influencing, risk identification, and stakeholder management skills, including explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• TOGAF Foundation or Practitioner certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• DAMA CDMP or DCAM certification.
• SAP data architecture experience.
