Software Engineer 1 (Java/Kotlin) - Development Environment

Location: Poznań, Poland; hybrid 4/1 model with 30 days of occasional remote work

Salary: PLN 11,200–15,250 per month under an employment contract, plus an annual performance and company-results bonus.

What you will do

• Build and maintain internal developer platform microservices and test environment infrastructure.
• Enhance automated deployment pipelines and test environment tooling.
• Develop dynamic traffic routing mechanisms using Service Mesh and create test data generation tools.
• Integrate developer portals and improve developer experience across the organization.
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, monitor released systems, and contribute to system reliability.
• Take ownership of well-scoped tasks from clarifying requirements through implementation and post-release support with team guidance.

Requirements

• Experience programming in Kotlin or Java and motivation to develop Kotlin skills in a production environment.
• Basic understanding of microservices and interest in building reliable, scalable systems.
• Care for code quality, constructive code reviews, and sound engineering practices.
• Willingness to expand skills across technologies and work with complex, distributed platform solutions.
• Clear communication with teammates and stakeholders and readiness to own well-scoped tasks.
• Professional working proficiency in Polish and English; English at least B2.
