What you will do

• Assess legacy applications end-to-end using AI-assisted analysis tools.
• Define and execute migration strategies including framework upgrades and containerization.
• Deploy applications to cloud or optimized on-premise platforms.
• Shape the modernization practice by contributing patterns and templates.
• Collaborate with application teams to ensure seamless transitions.
• Utilize Agentic AI and LLM tools daily for code analysis and refactoring.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with progressive seniority.
• Strong Java/Spring expertise is mandatory.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1 level).
• Broad infrastructure knowledge including cloud, Kubernetes, and on-premise systems.
• Experience with enterprise middleware, messaging (Kafka/JMS), and databases.
• Must be based in Georgia, Serbia, Spain, Cyprus, or Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional backend stacks like .NET, Python, or C++.
• Background in financial services, capital markets, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment (EKS, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency with enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira.
