Software Engineer 2 (Java / Kotlin) - Product Catalogue

Location: Toruń, Poland; office-first hybrid model with a 4/1 arrangement

Salary: PLN 14,600–20,825 per month under an employment contract, plus an annual bonus depending on assessment and company results.

hirify.global operates a large-scale ecommerce marketplace with a product catalogue that supports partner workflows, offer listing, internal processes, and millions of customers.

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize high-availability systems handling thousands of requests per minute.
• Develop and operate product-catalogue microservices across the full lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Solve backend challenges involving distributed systems, data streaming, and algorithmic optimization.
• Improve the stability, scalability, simplicity, and data quality of the offer-listing process.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with backend engineers, frontend specialists, project managers, UX designers, and data scientists.

Requirements

• Commercial experience coding in Kotlin or Java, with eagerness to master Kotlin for new services.
• Ability to translate user requirements into effective solutions and an AI-open mindset.
• Willingness to participate in code reviews, accept feedback, and share knowledge.
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping technical knowledge up to date.
• English at B2 level or higher.
