Senior Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Mostly remote, with onsite work in NYC as needed; preferably based in NY, NJ, CT, or PA.

What you will do

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities and translate them into actionable requirements.
• Contribute to digital products, workflows, dashboards, client-facing platforms, and data-driven solutions.
• Support product discovery through problem definition, opportunity assessment, workshops, prioritisation, experimentation, prototypes, and user feedback.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Technology, Data, Analytics, and Engineering teams throughout Agile delivery.
• Support backlog refinement, user story development, acceptance criteria definition, and ongoing requirements clarification.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience producing detailed business and functional requirements documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery environments and working with distributed or remote teams.
• Experience in Professional Services organizations.
• Experience with digital client portals and client-facing platforms, including secure sharing of data, insights, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Experience translating business strategy and user needs into product concepts, features, delivery roadmaps, and practical requirements.
• Experience balancing business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints when defining solutions.
• Experience modelling business processes and workflows, supporting automated workflows across multiple business functions, and working with high-level datasets, data structures, and data models.
• Experience defining requirements for dashboards, reporting solutions, analytics products, and user interfaces.

Nice to have

• Executive Search, Recruitment, Consulting, or related Professional Services experience.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled products and requirements for AI-assisted workflows, automation, knowledge management, productivity, or employee experience solutions.
• Familiarity with low-code, no-code, or AI configuration environments.
• BPMN modelling experience, ideally using Bizagi.
