Hybrid Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst (HubSpot)

Brown & Brown is hiring a Hybrid Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst for its HubSpot delivery team.

What you will do

• Lead requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders across Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Gather and manage business, functional, technical, integration, data, content migration, workflow, reporting, and quality requirements for the HubSpot implementation.
• Translate requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process workflows, data mappings, and test scenarios.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint readiness, acceptance criteria validation, release activities, change management, user adoption, training documentation, and transition planning.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, migration, workflow, reporting, and user acceptance testing; track defects, validate fixes, and support retesting.
• Act as the liaison between stakeholders, developers, QA, and external vendors while monitoring KPIs and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in business analysis, quality assurance, software testing, product analysis, or a similar hybrid delivery role.
• Knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques, including interviews, questionnaires, user observation, workshops, and process review.
• Experience writing requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, test cases, and defect documentation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, backlog refinement, testing cycles, UAT, and release readiness.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and vendor partners.
• Strong problem-solving skills involving complex business scenarios, technical solutions, workflow changes, data quality, and user experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business applications, plus experience with data visualization and process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction and explain technical concepts, testing outcomes, risks, and defects to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Business Analyst, Quality Assurance, software testing, HubSpot, CRM, CMS, or marketing automation certification; ISTQB or equivalent experience is acceptable for QA/testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with HubSpot, CRM platforms, CMS platforms, marketing automation tools, or digital marketing technology implementations.
• Experience with WordPress or migrations from WordPress to another marketing, CRM, CMS, or digital engagement platform.
• Experience validating integrations, APIs, data mappings, contact records, lead capture flows, campaign attribution, dashboards, user permissions, and reporting outputs.
