Senior Analyst, IT Change Management

Location: Saint Petersburg, Florida, United States; hybrid workstyle with attendance at a hirify.global office at least three days per week, including Monday or Friday.

What you will do

• Evaluate and approve complex and higher-risk Change Requests affecting products, applications, infrastructure, and the IT production environment.
• Validate risk assessments, business justification, impacted services, implementation sequencing, backout plans, testing evidence, maintenance windows, and lead-time compliance.
• Facilitate weekly Change Advisory Board meetings, including risk summaries, readiness discussions, minutes, and follow-up actions.
• Monitor ServiceNow Change Management workflows and queues to ensure timely review, approval, escalation, and closure.
• Execute recurring control reviews, assess Post Implementation Reviews, support audit readiness, and coordinate remediation of control deficiencies.
• Identify noncompliance patterns, scheduling conflicts, dependencies, blackout-window violations, and systemic risks while contributing to reporting and process improvement.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an IT function using a formal Change Management framework or in a comparable governance function with production-control and risk-based decision-making exposure; general experience expected: 3–6 years.
• Strong risk management capability, including identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and communicating operational risk across varying scenarios.
• Advanced analytical skills for evaluating documentation, assessing governance compliance, and recommending risk-based actions.
• Ability to develop recommendations based on expected benefits, costs, risk exposure, and stakeholder value.
• High attention to detail and control discipline, with consistent application of governance and documentation standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with technical teams and senior leadership.
• Professionalism and sound judgment in highly regulated, auditable environments.
• Completed high school education is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework in structured IT service management environments.
• Experience in regulated industries or environments subject to SOX, SEC, FFIEC, and/or ISO 27001-aligned controls.
• Proficiency with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform.
• Technical exposure to infrastructure, application support, systems engineering, or related domains.
