(Sr./Lead) Business Analyst I (II)

What you will do

• Support Implementation Leads by tracking project progress, timelines, risks, business cases, objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with business users, product owners, managers, and technical teams to identify needs, define objectives, and communicate requirements.
• Elicit, document, and validate requirements, use cases, user stories, functional specifications, process models, workflow diagrams, and requirements matrices.
• Analyze business processes, performance metrics, and user feedback to recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support FERC, NERC, Operating Agreement, and other compliance activities, including traceability, implementation performance, controls, training, and post-implementation compliance demonstration.
• Establish analysis approaches, review deliverables, mentor less-experienced analysts, share best practices, and provide leadership to business analysts and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on projects or initiatives.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis, documenting and improving business processes, and producing high-quality work products with attention to detail.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including communication with management, peers, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to develop strong relationships across multiple departments and divisions and gain the confidence of parties with frequently conflicting interests.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, including as a team member or team leader.
• Ability to train, guide, or assist others with complex assignments and understand business needs while maintaining customer trust and confidence.

Nice to have

• MBA in Business Administration.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions or supporting PJM committees.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), PMI Certified Agile Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
