Business Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, Arlington, Virginia, United States

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Document current-state operational workflows and data flows and support future-state requirements.
• Translate business, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements into clear technical and process documentation.
• Support the enterprise or solutions architect in evaluating technology options and documenting architecture and design implications.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps between requirements and delivered work, and help resolve them.
• Coordinate with design, research, and engineering stakeholders to keep requirements accurate and current.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of business analyst experience, including documenting workflows, data flows, and requirements for a technical program.
• Strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Experience translating complex or ambiguous requirements into clear documentation.
• Experience with requirements and documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, or ServiceNow.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a government or regulatory program.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts and terminology.
