Business Analyst (Business Continuity)

Location: Milwaukee, WI, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Salary: $71,720.00–$118,340.00 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate governance activities, schedules, milestones, documentation repositories, issue tracking, reporting, metrics, dashboards, and management summaries for business continuity, crisis management, and disaster recovery programs.
• Support regulatory, audit, customer, and internal reviews by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Coordinate business continuity plan development and reviews, business impact analysis activities, recovery objectives, dependencies, and continuity documentation updates.
• Coordinate and participate in crisis management exercises, tabletop scenarios, disaster recovery testing, post-test reviews, and preparedness activities.
• Align business continuity requirements with technology disaster recovery strategies and serve as a liaison between business, technology, and risk management teams.
• Track findings, risks, action items, and remediation efforts while identifying process, reporting, documentation, and tooling improvements.

Requirements

• Understanding of technology operations, applications, infrastructure, systems, and recovery processes supporting business operations.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business and technical information, including requirements, dependencies, gaps, and process improvements.
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices, including project coordination, prioritization, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
• Experience facilitating discussions, documenting requirements, tracking action items, and preparing reports, metrics, presentations, and business documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, planning, documentation, analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and process-orientation skills.
• Ability to independently manage assignments, meet deadlines, collaborate across business and technology teams, ask questions, seek feedback, and adapt to continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of business continuity, crisis management, or disaster recovery concepts.
• Exposure to business impact analysis, tabletop exercises, or testing.
