Analyst, Rsrch Bus Con I (Mortgage Servicing)

What you will do

• Review disaster reports and identify required loan coding according to investor guidelines.
• Research quality-control exceptions, provide supporting documentation, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Review account populations for adherence to established standards and timeframes, documenting findings and account- or process-level recommendations.
• Assist with acquisitions and sales activities as directed.
• Recommend enhancements to Fiserv scripts to improve the end-user experience.
• Track customer service issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of mortgage servicing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Self-motivated approach and ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and similar documents; write routine reports and correspondence; and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions, solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, and handle difficult customer relationships with tact and diplomacy.
