What you will do

• Coordinate the mechanical aspects of specialized tool and automated application projects with technical leaders, managers, and other disciplines.
• Prepare mechanical assembly specifications and justify technical choices through simulations, calculations, and test models.
• Produce 3D models, fabrication and assembly drawings, and corresponding bills of materials.
• Account for material strength, thermal dissipation, manufacturability, maintainability, and testability.
• Build and test prototypes, support qualification testing, and integrate hardware and software.
• Manage suppliers on requirements and validation while applying development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience designing mechanical and/or automated applications.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks 3D.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English is required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, priority-management, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take initiative, remain self-motivated and results-driven, and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks Simulation.
• Experience designing systems related to analog and/or digital electronics.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of an additional language.
