Manager, Training (Healthcare)

Location: Primarily remote; candidates will be considered nationwide within the United States. May require 10% travel.

Salary: $87,700–$157,800 per year.

What you will do

• Lead training strategy and coordinate training delivery for Marketplace Member Services and designated Medicaid teams.
• Assess individual and group needs using business indicators and develop curricula, materials, aids, and online interactive training.
• Oversee training initiatives from development through facilitation and ensure trainer readiness and effectiveness.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and return on investment, prepare management reports, and recommend improvements.
• Audit team results, identify training gaps, implement improvements, and identify cost savings while maintaining program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with senior management and determine when outside vendors are appropriate for training objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of training experience within the applicable function, preferably in a managed care or insurance environment.
• Familiarity with computer-based training tools and technology-based training platforms.
• Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluation methodologies for measuring organizational impact and training expenditure ROI.
• Compliance with all company policies and standards.
