Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States; onsite role.

Base pay: $140,000–$160,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of client- and server-side software solutions.
• Develop complex algorithms that address business needs, including opportunities to help customers save money on loans.
• Build scalable, enterprise-wide systems using current technologies.
• Improve backend integrations and develop analytics-focused functionality with business partners.
• Navigate and improve existing codebases while minimizing risk.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting web applications, including the experience listed below.
• 2+ years of hands-on C# coding experience.
• 2+ years of RESTful API development experience.
• 2+ years of frontend development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular; demonstrated ability to learn new frameworks quickly is also accepted.
• Computer Science or closely related degree.
• Expertise in one or more programming languages, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a creative, industrious approach.
• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience building and integrating service-oriented and event-driven systems, including APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of maintainable design, SOLID principles, design patterns, code review, and unit testing.

• Availability for on-call duties outside normal business hours when necessary.
