Senior Software Engineer / Team Lead (Fintech)

Location: Remote; hiring in Latin America. A valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer are required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain React applications, portals, embeddable widgets, and reusable UI components.
• Build secure REST APIs, microservices, business workflows, and integrations using C# and .NET Core.
• Design PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas, queries, migrations, and data-access patterns.
• Contribute to AWS workloads using EKS, Lambda, containers, and Step Functions or equivalent orchestration.
• Write unit, component, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests while troubleshooting application, data, UI, API, and cloud issues.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, API and event-contract design, code reviews, documentation, delivery support, and guidance to engineers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing and supporting production software.
• Strong C#/.NET Core skills, including REST APIs, dependency injection, asynchronous programming, testing, and secure coding.
• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, component architecture, state management, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar relational and document databases.
• Experience with microservices, API-first development, third-party integrations, and resilient distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Ability to write automated unit and integration tests and troubleshoot UI, API, data, and cloud issues.
• Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Ability to translate requirements into maintainable, well-documented solutions and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
• Valid U.S. visa and ability to travel to the U.S. for onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Nice to have

• Experience with embeddable widgets, micro-frontends, white-label applications, or multi-tenant SaaS.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, ECS Batch, S3, KMS, certificate or secret management.
• Exposure to Python services, data pipelines, and unittest.
• Experience with Terraform/Pulumi and GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, distributed tracing, and incident support.
• Background in financial services, payments, embedded finance, lending, or banking.
