Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI/FinTech)

Location: Remote, based in the United States

Salary: US $136K–$252K base pay annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and evolve React and Next.js front-end applications serving millions of monthly users.
• Improve Core Web Vitals, accessibility, technical SEO, usability, and responsive performance.
• Partner with product, SEO, content, design, and engineering teams to launch, test, and iterate on shopping experiences.
• Design and implement backend APIs and services for dynamic personalized content, experimentation, and partner integrations.
• Contribute to performance, observability, A/B testing infrastructure, shared UI components, design systems, and front-end developer experience.
• Use AI coding tools and spec-driven workflows, participate in code reviews, mentor colleagues, and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful contributions across front-end and back-end systems.
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js or a related isomorphic framework, such as Astro or Gatsby.
• Strong product and UX sensibility with attention to performance, usability, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrating SQL or NoSQL databases, and developing full-stack features.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code in a regular development workflow.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Vercel and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and observability.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work remotely while based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with public-facing, high-visibility shopping marketplaces.
• Background in FinTech, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Hands-on experience with web vitals, lazy loading, caching strategies, or third-party analytics tools.
• A technical blog, open-source contributions, or portfolio site showcasing the work.
