Sr. Product Engineer (Manufacturing)

Salary: $113,600–$151,400 per year

What you will do

• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems to maintain product flow and improve quality, cost, and cycle time.
• Plan, design, and improve manufacturing processes and coordinate new product introductions.
• Develop and execute cost-cutting and process-improvement initiatives.
• Create and review engineering changes, and modify manufacturing and test software.
• Analyze and report manufacturing and engineering data; evaluate and implement automated test tools and strategies.
• Manage Jira RMA database activities, conduct weekly RMA prioritization meetings, and liaise between manufacturing and engineering.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of computer programming, databases, and data manipulation.
• Experience with test engineering and SMT manufacturing.
• Understanding of detailed circuit analysis and ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level.
• Ability to develop manufacturing processes and work with RMAs.
• Knowledge of PC operating systems and PC hardware components.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; ability to work under tight schedule constraints while maintaining high quality, multitask, make concise decisions, and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work with background manufacturing noise.
