Program Manager – Strategic Cloud & AI Portfolio (AI)

Location: New York, NY, US

Salary: $121,792.21–$189,189.00 annually; actual salary depends on experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. Bonuses, incentive pay, differential pay, and benefits are excluded.

What you will do

• Lead a specialized team of project managers delivering Cloud, AI, and Databricks initiatives through discovery, planning, execution, launch, and optimization.
• Manage complex programs across infrastructure, data, analytics, and application teams, including plans, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resources, risks, and quality reviews.
• Design and continuously improve project management standards, templates, governance structures, decision rights, escalation paths, and reusable playbooks.
• Serve as the primary executive and stakeholder contact for portfolio status, risks, outcomes, change requests, KPIs, and strategic recommendations.
• Coach project managers across the PMO and build capabilities for advanced Cloud, AI, and data platform delivery.
• Coordinate stakeholder discussions on goals, scope, success criteria, operational training, readiness, adoption, support, and experience metrics.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of project and program management methodologies, tools, financial management, and resource management practices.
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex IT programs using formal methodologies such as PMBOK or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading technology programs in Cloud platforms, AI/ML initiatives, or data platforms and analytics; multiple areas are strongly preferred.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with a record of delivering under compressed timelines and high visibility.
• Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
• Highly analytical and process-oriented, with the ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills, with demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Effective communication with all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project and/or program management experience.
• Experience leading strategic technology programs in complex environments; healthcare industry experience is highly desired.
• PMP certification is required; PgMP, SAFe, Agile, Cloud, or Databricks certifications are a plus.
