Azure Solutions Architect

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $115,000–$165,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, provision, configure, and operate Azure cloud or enterprise infrastructure using approved architecture patterns.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Implement security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability controls.
• Investigate incidents, capacity issues, vulnerabilities, and performance problems.
• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records while collaborating across engineering and operations.

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in a related professional role, with the exact threshold matching the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Professional experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations relevant to the role.
• Hands-on knowledge of applicable cloud, operating-system, container, or automation technologies.
• Understanding of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability fundamentals.
• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues methodically.
• Strong documentation and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Applicants must be eligible for direct U.S. W2 employment; the position is not open to C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Nice to have

• Additional hands-on depth in Azure resource management, networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring, automation, and governance.
• Experience defining solution architecture, technical standards, and design governance across multiple teams.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the technology area.
