What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to define and architect end-to-end cloud solutions aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead the architecture for data and analytics platforms, specifically utilizing Azure Databricks and modern lakehouse patterns.
• Develop cloud networking strategies, including VNet design, hybrid connectivity, and secure access patterns.
• Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) frameworks using Azure AD, RBAC, and Zero Trust principles.
• Drive operational excellence through the design of monitoring, logging, observability, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Mentor engineers and junior architects while establishing architecture standards and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in IT, with at least 10 years focused on cloud architecture (Azure preferred).
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, security, and platform services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and modern data architecture (data lakes, ETL/ELT, streaming).
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (hub-and-spoke, VPN/ExpressRoute) and IAM frameworks.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
