Sourcer/Proposal Recruiting Specialist

What you will do

• Partner with Business Development, Recruiting, and Operations to review live proposals, RFIs, draft solicitations, and the opportunity pipeline.
• Source and engage qualified candidates for proposed Key Personnel and other priority roles through professional networks, databases, referrals, job boards, and approved channels.
• Assess candidate interest, availability, relevant experience, and compensation expectations while maintaining timely follow-up.
• Obtain and track resumes, letters of commitment, and supporting materials, ensuring they are complete, current, accurate, and compliant with solicitation instructions.
• Maintain candidate pipelines and provide updates on sourcing progress, risks, documentation gaps, and alternatives before proposal deadlines.
• Support active-contract recruiting, clearance verification, candidate resume formatting, and handoff to recruiters or hiring teams as capacity allows.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent sourcing, staffing, or recruiting coordination; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong candidate research, outreach, relationship-building, written and verbal communication, follow-through, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates, opportunities, time-sensitive documents, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Development, Recruiting, and Operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using applicant tracking, CRM, or candidate pipeline tools.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting federal government contractors, federal proposals, or contract staffing.
• Familiarity with federal proposal cycles, including RFIs, draft RFPs, RFP releases, Key Personnel requirements, resumes, and letters of commitment.
• Experience sourcing professional, technical, management, or specialized roles, including positions requiring suitability or security clearances.
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing platforms and the Workable ATS.
• Experience using AI tools for sourcing, candidate research, resume review or formatting, and outreach preparation with human review and protection of candidate information.
