Aviation Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Hybrid role based in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; candidates must be U.S. Persons under ITAR

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 annually, plus bonus package

What you will do

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for real-time decision-making.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Use Python for data transformation, automation, forecasting, anomaly detection, and advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure aviation parts and materials are available on time.
• Monitor suppliers and inventory, support just-in-time delivery and strategic sourcing, and assist with supply chain system and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 2+ years of supply chain analytics experience, preferably in aviation or aerospace.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or similar business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
• Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and stakeholder presentation skills.
• Familiarity with aviation maintenance systems such as AMOS, TRAX, or similar platforms.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR: a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or individual granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning techniques.
