Business Systems Engineer I (AI)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite work may include production areas. Candidates working in US offices must meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements.

Base pay: $67,000–$84,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Analyze supply chain risks, intelligence, and operational data using SQL, R, Power BI, Python, and other tools.
• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven tools, intelligent agents, and bots supporting supply chain professionals.
• Collaborate across functions to identify AI integration, automation, and process optimization opportunities.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
• Maintain procedures and documentation, train users, and support new AI tools, reports, and processes.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and use AI to uncover operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; alternatively, a high school diploma and 4+ years of total work experience.
• Experience with at least one of SQL, R, Python, or Power BI.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Exposure to ERP systems.
• For US office employment, must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident, lawfully admitted refugee or asylee, or eligible to obtain applicable ITAR authorizations.
