What you will do

• Program automated equipment including CNC machines, welding robots, laser projection, and painting/blasting systems.
• Lead manufacturing engineering projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput.
• Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and specialized packaging solutions for supply chain efficiency.
• Maintain routing documents, production procedures, and costing reports via the MRP system.
• Implement lean manufacturing methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Gemba walks, and Poka Yoke.
• Conduct time and motion studies and analyze process bottlenecks to improve workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, specifically with robotics and automated systems.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Hands-on experience writing and optimizing robot weld programs.
• In-depth understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Peoria, Illinois, USA.
