Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Digital Manufacturing): Leading the development and implementation of production processes to produce parts to specification at the lowest cost with an accent on CNC lathe automation and robust manufacturing workflows. Focus on troubleshooting production bottlenecks, driving lean manufacturing initiatives, and ensuring ITAR compliance.
Location: On-site in Brooklyn Park, MN. Open only to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status (ITAR regulations).
Salary: $99,900 - $149,900 a year

What you will do
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to develop and improve manufacturing processes and tooling strategies.
- Design and develop production flows, assembly methods, and production equipment.
- Troubleshoot production bottlenecks and identify design improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve yield and quality.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S events.
- Manage large-scope projects, including long-range planning and budgeting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of CNC lathe experience.
- Experience with automating CNC lathe processes.
- Proficiency with CMM, inspection methods, and GD&T.
- Ability to perform machine/process validation and capability analysis.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or have refugee/asylee status (ITAR compliance).
- Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
Nice to have
- Mill-Turn experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills using FMEA, Pareto, or Cause & Effect diagrams.
- Experience coaching and mentoring colleagues.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
