Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the site toward safety, quality, delivery, cost, and cash objectives.
• Apply Lean principles, eliminate waste, and build a culture of continuous improvement across manufacturing and business processes.
• Provide strategy and direction to Value Stream Managers and develop annual plans for multiple business units.
• Establish and execute site transformation plans, convert batch processing to lean practices, and drive Kaizen actions.
• Partner with planning, quality, lean, safety, finance, HR, marketing, and sales functions to address site, customer, and market needs.
• Lead talent acquisition, employee development, people management, communication, and enterprise action plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a site manager managing an organization of more than 100 people.
• Ideally 10+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience implementing Lean and creating a lean culture.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, with flexibility to support and deploy new processes in a changing business environment.
• Project management and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related business field.
• Fabrication experience in metal stamping or pressing, painting, and assembly.
