Accounting Lead (AI Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Own procure-to-pay operations, including vendor onboarding, purchase-order matching, approval workflows, payment runs, expense reimbursements, and 1099 reporting.
• Oversee invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, billing discrepancy resolution, vendor relations, and fraud-prevention controls.
• Support month-end close, including accruals, payroll-related entries, reconciliations, audit schedules, and tax filings with outside advisors.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, standardized documentation, and AP/GL performance indicators.
• Build SOX-ready controls and drive automation and workflow improvements across NetSuite, FloQast, Zip, and AI tools.
• Partner with IT and business teams on system enhancements, data integrity, accounting operations, and ad hoc projects for the Assistant Controller.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on accounts payable and general ledger accounting.
• Strong US GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliation skills.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel.
• Comfort using AI tools to automate accounts payable and accounting work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with FloQast and Zip for procure-to-pay.
• CPA certification.
• Experience in hardware, semiconductor, or high-growth startup environments.
