Legal Counsel (GameDev)

hirify.global is a GameDev company specializing in puzzle games, with products exceeding 200 million downloads and regular worldwide top-chart placements.

What you will do

• Provide legal and operational support to the company.
• Develop and enforce contract templates, approval workflows, internal policies, and other legal and operational procedures.
• Manage corporate governance and keep group entities in good standing.
• Protect brands and intellectual property, including trademark registration, game-content rights, and infringement actions.
• Lead group tax planning in cooperation with external tax advisors.
• Ensure product compliance with data protection, App Store and Google Play policies, and consumer protection requirements; maintain Terms of Service and Privacy Policy documents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience, including at least 2–3 years in-house in GameDev.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property, data protection, and digital product regulation.
• AI fluency and flexibility.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills in English.
• Experience working directly with founders and senior management, explaining legal risks in plain language, and proposing business solutions.
• Independence, a structured approach, and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload.
