Legal Counsel – Partner Network

Location: Milan, Italy or Madrid, Spain; hybrid and remote options may be discussed for this specific role.

What you will do

• Review, draft, renew, amend, and negotiate sales agreements with physical and digital partners across multiple European countries.
• Advise business units and respond to internal and external questions on commercial terms, data protection, and intellectual property.
• Assess contract risks, manage escalations, and propose playbook positions aligned with legal and business standards.
• Create, localize, translate, and improve contract templates, including clause swaps and fallback positions.
• Maintain the partner playbook and special-payments guidance with other business areas.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks and contingencies, proposing preventive measures to avoid disputes.

Requirements

• Law Degree obtained in any European country and 6+ years of proven experience in a law firm or in-house legal role within a multinational company.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Expertise in commercial contract law, risk assessment, and data protection.
• Strong communication, negotiation, diplomacy, flexibility, and business acumen.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as Gemini and NotebookLM for first-pass reviews and playbook improvements; non-standard-term negotiations require leadership supervision and approval.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, initiative, and ownership mentality.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Native German and fluent English are mandatory.

• Fluency in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, or Romanian.
