Associate Director, FP&A Treasury Lead

Location: New York, NY, United States, or Chicago, IL, United States; hybrid attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Base salary: $144,000–$216,000 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with the Treasurer on debt capital structure, credit facilities, covenant compliance, lender reporting, amendments, extensions, and refinancings.
• Build funding plans for acquisitions, strategic investments, partner distributions, debt service, and tax while monitoring liquidity and debt capacity.
• Develop long-range cash forecasts integrating 13-week Treasury forecasts with annual budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Lead global working capital analysis, liquidity scenario planning, stress testing, rate sensitivity analysis, and covenant headroom assessments.
• Model the cash, capital, and leverage effects of acquisitions, new service lines, pricing changes, and major investments, including deal structuring, diligence, and post-merger integration.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for the CFO, Treasurer, Board, New Mountain Capital, investors, and lenders, while establishing repeatable Treasury and FP&A data and reporting processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, or investment banking, including at least 3 years in treasury.
• Deep expertise in liquidity management, credit facilities, and covenant management.
• Working knowledge of FX and interest rate exposure and their impact on plans, forecasts, and cost of debt.
• Experience building integrated cash forecasts linked to three-statement models and planning cycles.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise planning and consolidation platforms such as Anaplan, OneStream, or Adaptive.
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership, investors, and lenders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or CTP certification.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or banking, including familiarity with partnership structures and partner distributions.
• Experience in a private equity-backed business, investment banking, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, corporate development, or a Big Four firm.
• Experience in acquisition modeling, capital planning, or long-range planning in a multi-entity, acquisitive environment.
