Senior Director, Treasury Operations

Location: New York, New York, United States; on-site at least four days per week

Base salary: $250,000–$275,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead post-acquisition treasury integration, stabilization, operational remediation, and infrastructure turnaround across legacy and acquired entities.
• Stabilize disbursements and working capital, remediate subledger-to-GL reconciliation backlogs, and establish operational controls across Treasury, AP, Procurement, Shared Services, and Accounting.
• Rationalize banking networks, account structures, sweep hierarchies, cash concentration, payment platforms, merchant processing fees, and banking costs.
• Build 13-week rolling cash forecasts, manage daily multi-entity cash positioning, optimize liquidity and revolver utilization, and sequence capital outlays.
• Oversee debt instruments, leases, amortization, interest payments, covenant compliance, interest-rate and FX hedging, and banking syndicate relationships.
• Lead migration to a modern Treasury Management System with ERP integration, automated subledger-to-GL posting, standardized bank interfaces, and a high-performing treasury operations team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in Corporate Treasury, Cash Operations, and Post-M&A Integration or Turnaround Mandates, including direct oversight or coordination of AP and Procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Experience in highly leveraged or complex multi-entity corporate environments managing daily cash positioning, sweeps, and debt compliance inputs.
• Hands-on experience implementing Treasury Management Systems and integrating TMS platforms with ERP systems.
• Experience rationalizing multi-entity banking structures, optimizing ZBA sweep hierarchies, and enforcing internal controls over disbursements and wire releases.
• Experience managing multi-tenant, client-dedicated, or fiduciary bank account structures with complex sweep architectures.
• Forensic approach to bank account cleanup, transaction mapping, wire release controls, bank fee rationalization, and system design.
• Proven success leading post-acquisition operational remediation, untangling legacy infrastructure, and defining subledger-to-GL accounting boundaries.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage banking syndicates, align cross-functional stakeholders, lead operational teams, and use AI tools to transform workflows.
