Finance Director (SaaS)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $147,170–$195,000 annually, plus a 15% annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead annual operating plan and quarterly reforecast cycles, consolidating cross-functional inputs and presenting results to executive leadership and the Board.
• Develop revenue, expense, cash flow, and headcount projections and administer monthly and quarterly management reporting.
• Build dashboards, variance analyses, KPI reports, and Board-ready materials while identifying performance trends, gaps, and root causes.
• Design and improve scalable FP&A processes, systems, controls, and AI-enabled forecasting and reporting solutions for a growing SaaS organization.
• Partner with Sales and Sales Operations on bookings, pipeline, revenue forecasts, sales productivity, and compensation alignment.
• Support US GAAP reporting, strategic financial modeling, M&A due diligence and integration, and ad hoc executive analysis.

Requirements

• Experience in Business Unit FP&A or related financial planning roles within a SaaS or recurring-revenue environment.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, including advanced Excel and executive-ready presentations.
• Understanding of financial statement analysis, corporate finance principles, and US GAAP fundamentals.
• Experience preparing management and Board-level reporting packages.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, maintain accuracy and attention to detail, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial results into business insights.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; current or future employment sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Experience supporting Sales and Go-To-Market organizations with bookings and revenue analytics.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, including financial modeling and post-acquisition integration.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with enterprise planning systems such as Adaptive or Anaplan and BI/reporting tools.
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or a similar advanced credential.
