Structural Project Engineer (Construction Engineering)

Salary: $80,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead structural analysis and design, including steel connections, temporary works, erection stability, and contractor temporary supports.
• Analyze partially erected structures, alternate load paths, sequencing, constructability, and field constraints.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute construction engineering, Advanced Project Delivery, and steel connection design projects.
• Coordinate designs and details with engineers, Tekla modelers, and other design professionals.
• Manage deliverables, drawings, specifications, contract documents, staffing, and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and fabricators to understand requirements and support project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience delivering complex technical design projects, including at least 2 years designing steel connections.
• Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure, or the ability to obtain a license.
• Working knowledge of SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, Risa-3D, PCA Software, Revit, and AutoCAD.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Tekla Structures.
