Endpoint Engineer (Quantum Computing)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; onsite at the assigned location with approval for remote work up to 2 days per week.

Salary: $115,000–$155,000 per year.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, operating systems, applications, drivers, and mobile devices.
• Manage endpoint configuration, patching, desktop imaging, application packaging, deployment, and system optimization.
• Deploy and administer MDM solutions for smartphones and tablets.
• Collaborate with IT engineering, enterprise applications, support, network, and other global IT teams to integrate endpoint systems.
• Document configurations, policies, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and workflows.
• Support infrastructure projects, hardware refreshes, software upgrades, emerging technologies, and after-hours incidents; travel to other sites may be required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• At least 5 years of experience in heterogeneous desktop and endpoint administration in enterprise-level, geographically distributed environments.
• At least 5 years of experience with desktop imaging, deployment, patch management, service reconfiguration and pruning, and performance optimization.
• Proven experience as an endpoint engineer or similar role; MDM experience is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Person: U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, or worker granted asylum or refugee status.
• Due to national security requirements, candidates must not be nationals of the People's Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen.
• Proven experience supporting Mac and/or Linux endpoints at enterprise level.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, and/or equivalent formal training.
• Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, ITIL, or CompTIA A+ certifications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, endpoint security, and enterprise IT systems.
• Experience with Intune from the ground up, JAMF, ManageEngine Endpoint Central, VDI technologies, and PowerShell or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of desktop hardware, networking, IT infrastructure, ITSM frameworks and tools, documentation, workflow design, and endpoint standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, customer service, collaboration, reliability, and flexibility skills.
