Desktop Systems Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Chicago, United States; onsite support for the Chicago corporate office and exchange floors.

Annual base salary: $85,000–$125,000, plus an eligible annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide end-user support for employees in the Chicago corporate office and exchange floors.
• Build, configure, and upgrade workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade desktop-managed servers.
• Provision user accounts, mobile devices, VPN access, and directory permissions.
• Support conference room technologies and automate repetitive system administration tasks.
• Evaluate and recommend new hardware, software, and technology solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of MEMCM/SCCM administration experience or similar.
• Knowledge of application packaging and management.
• Strong experience supporting and configuring Windows 10.
• Strong knowledge of Group Policy management.
• PowerShell experience.
• Previous mobile device management experience.
• Passion for technology, strong motivation, initiative, and willingness to grow.
• Ability to manage projects independently.

Nice to have

• Intune management experience.
• Previous macOS or Linux support experience.
• Previous Windows Server and Active Directory support experience.
• Scripting or low-level programming experience.
