IT Endpoint Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote

Salary: $85,000–$125,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the management and continued development of the corporate endpoint environment across macOS, Windows, and iOS.
• Translate security and compliance requirements, including CIS Benchmarks and NIST 800-171 controls, into endpoint controls and deployment plans with Security and IT.
• Manage endpoint patching and vulnerability remediation within established SLAs.
• Build scripts, automation, health checks, monitoring, and tooling to deploy configurations, detect drift, remediate issues, and reduce manual administration.
• Lead technical projects from planning through testing and deployment while managing dependencies, risks, and user impact.
• Investigate complex endpoint issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve tooling and architecture based on recurring problems and user-facing IT needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, IT infrastructure, or similar technical roles.
• Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows administration, scripting, and troubleshooting for a distributed or remote user base.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, including configuration profiles, application deployment, compliance policies, and device lifecycle management.
• Experience managing enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation within applicable timelines.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
• Ability to investigate complex technical problems using logs, telemetry, command-line tools, scripting, and other diagnostic methods.
• Experience leading technical projects from planning through testing and deployment, including identifying dependencies, risks, and potential user impact.
• Ability to translate technical, security, or compliance requirements into practical solutions and determine an appropriate deployment path.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and manage competing priorities.
