What you will do

• Lead the Centre of Expertise for Resilience & Control within Scalable & Digital Operations, with nine direct reports, four indirect reports, and functional direction for approximately 70 colleagues.
• Strengthen resilience capabilities across Wholesale Banking by supporting countries with scenarios, playbooks, testing, crisis management, third-party resilience measures, and global frameworks.
• Translate global resilience and ODCR priorities into an implementation roadmap aligned with local business priorities, risk, business impact, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive structural improvement initiatives, identify emerging risks and implementation challenges, and escalate recurring issues to relevant owners.
• Monitor resilience maturity and implementation progress across countries, improving data quality, tooling adoption, reporting, and metrics.
• Provide insight and challenge to senior stakeholders, governance bodies, Critical Business Service Owners, and CBS IT Owners.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Organisational Change, Management, Strategy, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
• Ten to fifteen years of broad leadership and transformation experience in complex organisations.
• Proven track record leading large-scale transformation programmes, portfolios, and strategic change initiatives.
• Extensive experience influencing senior executives and supporting strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated people leadership, including leading multidisciplinary expert teams and developing organisational capabilities.
• Strong experience in portfolio governance, risk management, organisational design, and change management.
• Extensive experience in operational resilience, non-financial risk, business continuity, operational risk, or a related discipline.
• Experience with resilience frameworks, regulatory requirements, crisis management, and/or third-party risk management.
• Strong analytical skills, a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
