Senior Manager in Insurance

Location: Hybrid, Amsterdam, Netherlands; work is based from the Amsterdam office or at client sites.

What you will do

• Lead teams and deliver consulting projects from the Amsterdam office or client sites.
• Drive client growth, revenue development, proposals, and other client materials.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Collaborate with hirify.global offices and use the global network for cross-selling and knowledge sharing.
• Track financial services developments and contribute to hirify.global’s brand in the Dutch insurance market through articles, blogs, and networking.
• Deliver work covering business strategy, business improvement, regulatory and operational risk transformation, innovation, and project management.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in management consulting.
• Experience delivering change for a top-tier insurance company. Banking experience is a plus.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive and ability to pursue client development and business development opportunities.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, ability to quickly build expertise, and enthuhirify.globalsm for helping clients use these opportunities.
• Good understanding of insurance products, processes, and technologies, including insurtech and fintech.
• Strong network within the Dutch insurance market.
• Strong academic background, for example in business, mathematics, or economics.
• Native Dutch speaker; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English are considered a plus.
• Work permit sponsorship is not available.
