Senior Category Manager (E-Mobility Procurement)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm, Sweden or Berlin, Germany

What you will do

• Shape the supplier base across vehicle manufacturers, component, battery and motor suppliers while balancing cost, quality, availability and risk.
• Lead sourcing for new vehicle platforms, components and spare parts, from supplier selection through series production.
• Negotiate pricing, volumes, warranties, quality and delivery agreements.
• Build cost models and benchmarks to identify savings and manage commodity, currency and duty exposure.
• Develop supplier partnerships and improve quality, delivery, warranty and claims performance.
• Anticipate supply risks, coordinate mitigation plans and manage parallel sourcing workstreams.

Requirements

• Several years of direct procurement experience, including independently leading sourcing and commercial negotiations.
• Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience managing projects with demanding timelines and multiple parallel workstreams.
• Clear communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience using AI tools responsibly to analyse information, draft communications or support decisions, and helping colleagues use them effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-mobility or bicycle procurement.
• Technical understanding of batteries, motors and controllers.
