Senior People Business Partner (HealthTech)

Location: Amsterdam HQ, Netherlands; hybrid work and living within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office required

What you will do

• Partner with senior leaders and the Leadership Team on organizational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness, and organizational health.
• Coach leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, feedback, development, and difficult people conversations.
• Lead complex employee relations cases involving performance improvement, conflict resolution, absence management, and sensitive exits.
• Drive and improve People programs covering performance management, engagement, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development.
• Translate business strategy into scalable People initiatives and use people data to improve engagement, retention, and organizational performance.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and People Operations, ensure consistent application of policies and employment legislation, and lead cross-functional People projects.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or People Business Partner in a fast-growing international organization.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on organizational and people topics.
• Extensive experience managing complex employee relations, performance management, and organizational change.
• Strong coaching, influencing, stakeholder management, and analytical skills, including translating people data into actionable business insights.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and HR best practices.
• Ability to operate independently, make sound judgments, and manage competing priorities.
• Must live within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office.

Nice to have

• Experience in a technology, SaaS, HealthTech, or scale-up environment.
• Experience with modern HR systems such as Personio.
• Experience supporting international teams.
