Market Operations Analyst (Fixed Income Markets)

Location: Rome - via Tomacelli, Italy

Salary: Starting from €36,000 RAL per year, plus restaurant vouchers, medical insurance, and pension fund.

What you will do

• Manage market reference data, participant configurations, trading permissions, instrument listings, and market permissions.
• Provide operational support to market participants and resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with product, business, and operational teams across the Group on market initiatives.
• Manage situations affecting market activity and contribute to appropriate solutions.
• Perform market surveillance in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate member onboarding and improve operational processes and controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Two to three years of experience within financial markets, trading venues, or market infrastructures.
• Good understanding of fixed-income and derivatives markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Collaborative, proactive team-working attitude and effective communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
