Collection Specialist (Medtech)

Location: Florence, Italy or Madrid, Spain. Hybrid work: after approximately one month of initial training, work in person 2 days per week.

Gross annual salary in Italy: €26,000.

What you will do

• Contact assigned customers to determine payment timelines and secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
• Resolve payment, pricing, system, and operational discrepancies while reconciling high-profile accounts.
• Review customer aging monthly, pending invoices weekly, daily HD controls, electronic invoices, and credit notes.
• Support customer service with invoicing, create and maintain customer records, and issue financial invoices for special requirements.
• Extract financial reports to analyze new customers and the customer database, identify credit risk, and request additional credit analysis when needed.
• Maintain fiscal documentation, back up accounts receivable activities, and collaborate on month-end closing.

Requirements

• Approximately 2 years of experience as a Credit Collector or Accounts Receivable Clerk.
• Strong computer skills, including accounting software, spreadsheets, word-processing programs, and Outlook email.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent Italian and proficient English are required.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.

• Spanish language skills.
