What you will do

• Manage underwriters, monitor goals, provide training and mentoring, and support career development.
• Achieve production and profitability goals and manage monthly production processes.
• Develop the Financial Lines MLC underwriting, sales, marketing, channel, and go-to-market strategies for Italy.
• Drive facility and program new business, grow alternative business sources, and build relationships with key brokers.
• Monitor GPW, NPW, rates, new and lost business, submissions, performance estimates, and reporting metrics.
• Implement underwriting standards, referral processes, regulatory and risk controls, products, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Solid leadership and/or managerial experience with the ability to make decisions.
• Excellent oral, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, conflict, difficult situations, multiple priorities, and change proactively.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
