Finance Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Milan, Italy, with required relocation to the Luxembourg office; three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, and one additional day), with the option to request extra remote time.

What you will do

• Identify, develop, and implement solutions that improve finance workflows.
• Write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine finance operations.
• Analyze, manipulate, and report on financial data to optimize treasury processes.
• Support finance projects in alignment with tax, accounting, and treasury guidelines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tech, Data, and other stakeholder teams to maintain clear communication and smooth workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in finance operations, accounting, or tech-driven process optimization.
• Proven experience with Python and scripting for data manipulation, automation, or API integrations.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, ERP systems, and financial process workflows.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English and Italian.
